We have the right to bear arms and protect ourselves granted by the 2nd amendment. “License’s” are not going to protect anyone because someone who has bad intentions will always find what they are looking for whether it be guns or drugs or even money (via stealing)….You can’t regulate gun safety like you cannot effectively regulate drugs. What you CAN do is require everyone to be their own first responder i.e., be prepared to fight for yourself if you HAVE to….. The only thing that drug and gun regulations (statutes, laws) WILL DO is create more money for the “prison industrial complex”….. I hear a tax increase coming…..to protect you from people who have guns…. As well, it is going to cost you more to have your gun legally because of the idea of requiring insurance on those weapons is now being considered. I would plead that KY and IN have pretty good gun laws as they stand. However, if changes come the people that will be hurt is once again the poor – who cannot afford INSURANCE or maybe even the license to have one if that was enacted…. Once again the rich win out…. Dearm the poor to protect the rich.
